Jenna Ortega Channels ‘French Girl Chic’ in Black and White Vivaia Capped-Toe Pumps in New York

Jenna Ortega was spotted having a night out with friends in New York yesterday. The star is currently embarking on a press tour for her upcoming film “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”

Paired with sheer black ankle-length beaded socks, the “X” actress donned a pair of color-blocked black and white pumps hailing from Vivaia. The stylish Julie Pro pair featured black-capped toes in an almond shape that transitioned into contrasting white cloth uppers, also trimmed with black.

Short stacked 1.77-inch block heels finished off the set, offering Ortega a walkable and subtle boost in height. The subtle preppy style can be likened to similar silhouettes from Chanel, given the French designer brand often incorporates sleek capped-toe detailing into its footwear designs.

In that same vein, the simplistic style offers Ortega that effortless French girl vibe while mirroring the color scheme of her ensemble, creating a cohesive look. Top brands like Aquazzura, Veronica Beard, Tory Burch, Arezzo and Vince Camuto have also created similar styles to the thespian’s own. The style has become a classic in its own right, especially in a black-and-white colorway, although neutral-hued styles have made the rounds.

In a similarly preppy style, the “You” star was styled in a black pleated tennis skirt, paired with a slightly sheer crisp white button-down shirt. Combatting the see-through nature of her top, Ortega layered on a black leather bra top that edged up her look. As for accessories, she wore black sunglasses with oval frames ala Kurt Cobain and a black leather shoulder bag fixed with a gold chain strap.

The actress has already been turning heads with her style as the press tour for her upcoming film kicked off over the weekend. The budding fashion star has been spotted wearing Dolce & Gabbana platform heels and sleek, all-black and white looks that are fitting for the film.
