Meghan Markle continues to showcase her personal style throughout her trip to Colombia, pairing magenta suede pumps from Manolo Blahnik with a whimsical skirt on Aug. 18.
Markle participated in the Afro Women and Power Forum at the Municipal Theater of Cali, seated beside Colombia Vice President Francia Marquez, who invited Markle and Prince Harry to the South American country.
Earlier in the trip, Markle opted for earth-toned outfits, selecting a rust-colored ensemble to go with tan Aquazzura heeled sandals on Aug. 15; and a patterned midi dress the same day, which went with brown Jimmy Choo mules.
This time, Markle selected a long, colorful skirt designed by Silvia Tcherassi, which featured whimsical floral patterns splashed against a light pink background. The skirt was paired with a sleeveless white collared button-down shirt, representing Markle’s flair for classic and refined pieces.

Markle selected a pair of Manolo Blahniks to match the vibrant hues of her skirt. The brand’s BB purple suede pumps feature a 105 mm stiletto heel and a pointed toe, which added a sharpness to Markle’s look. With a tall narrow heel, the quintessential enclosed pump silhouette helps elongate the leg and bring a sense of classic formality to an ensemble. The sole and lining are made from leather while the upper is suede, offering a matte quality that softens the bright hue of the shoe. The 105 mm version of the BB pump retails for $725.
Markle is a noted fan of Manolo Blahnik, having multiple pairs of the BB pumps in her closet, which are named for Brigitte Bardot. Manolo Blahnik, who is based in the United Kingdom, spoke to FN in 2018 about Markle wearing his shoes.
“I like the idea of mixing our culture with that of America, mixing bloodlines is the only way the aristocrats can survive,” Blahnik said. “Meghan has an incredible charisma, she’s sophisticated and elegant with touches of the New York girls but not so uptight. She moves well but is also pleasant and warm. And warmth and kindness are what we all need at the moment.”
