Jae Tips’ much-praised series of collaborations with Saucony will tick off the next item on its to-do list with the release of three new sneakers.

The Jae Tips x Saucony “To Do List” collection will debut in New York City with two ProGrid Omni 9s in a new but familiar array of colors, as well as two versions of the Shadow 6000 that will mark the partners’ first release for kids. Through a campaign video, the 2023 FN Achievement Award winning designer announced the long-teased sneakers will release Friday, August 23, in NYC.

Much like his previous efforts with Saucony, Jae Tips‘ ProGrid Omni 9 is a bright multi-color affair hosting messaging through text. Shades of brown, pink, purple, green and blue decorate the sneaker, which also features a colorless translucent mesh sidewall. A lateral heel panel bears the word “Savior” in a bulbous font that looks straight out of the ’70s and which departs from the cursive script the designer has used previously.

In the lead-up to the announcement, Jae Tips’ had teased a second colorway for the ProGrid Omni 9. This variant doesn’t appear in the promotional clip, but it did appear in the follow-up post announcing the location for the drop. It does without the browns and translucent paneling of the other adult’s shoe and features a very berry-like array of red, purple, light blue, and navy — as well as the same green sockliner.

The two Shadow 6000s in kid sizing complement both iterations of the adult sneaker shown by Jae Tips, albeit with simpler color blocking and the word “Savior” moved just beneath the lateral collar. Both appear in the spot shared to Instagram and Twitter/X.

Jae Tips and Saucony were recognized with “Collaboration of the Year” for their Grid Azura “Remember Who Fronted,” which dropped in May 2023 as the debut of their partnership. Three colorways of the Grid Shadow 2 then came near the end of the year for the “What’s the Ocassion?” capsule. Another forthcoming collab will bring back the Matrix sneaker from 2000, as confirmed by Saucony in a Footwear News exclusive.

The Jae Tips x Saucony “To Do List” ProGrid Omni 9 and Shadow 6000 will release Friday, August 23, at the Billionaire Boys Club store in New York City. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
