Cynthia Nixon was spotted on location in New York City, stepping into the role of Miranda Hobbes for the latest season of “And Just Like That.” The actress was seen in a chic ensemble on Aug. 20 that perfectly encapsulates her character’s evolution from the original “Sex and the City” series to the present day. Nixon’s look is a masterclass in understated elegance, capturing Miranda’s polished and professional style.

The highlight of Nixon’s outfit was a pair of neutral-toned pumps that peeked out from under the hem of her wide-leg, light blue suit pants. The pumps, with their pointed toe and sleek design, added a touch of subtle poise to the outfit, balancing out the structured, oversized fit of the suit. These shoes are a versatile staple that perfectly align with Miranda’s practical yet stylish wardrobe, emphasizing the lawyer’s no-nonsense approach to both fashion and life.

Nixon’s suit featured a classic pinstripe pattern, tailored to fit her frame while allowing a relaxed, effortless vibe. The choice of a light blue hue is a refreshing update to the power suit, which has long been a hallmark of her character’s style. Paired with a crisp white shirt underneath, the ensemble was the epitome of modern professionalism. And proving yet again that professional style doesn’t have to be boring.

Nixon is currently filming Season Three of “And Just Like That,” a Max spin-off of HBO’s hit franchise “Sex and the City.” Released in 2021, the series features a nearly identical cast to the show’s original main players, including Sarah Jessica Parker as the ever-fashionable Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York. New additions to the show include Sara Ramirez’s polarizing portrayal of Che Diaz and Nicole Ari Parker’s Lisa Todd Wexley, adding fresh dynamics to the beloved series.
